Converting music files to MP3 format condenses the data
and so removes parts of the sound file to make it smaller. It is
necessary for the instant downloads to use this format because otherwise
they would be very large and take too long to download.
After thorough analysis of
our sound waves it has been found that they remain intact after the conversion process. They are just
as effective in MP3 format or on CD.
The only issue is for the last 4 levels. Most MP3
players only have a minimum frequency response of 20Hz. For this reason
these levels are only available on CD.
Some good quality
headphones will also be required for the high levels to be effective. You will be advised on this when you
purchase the higher levels.
